WHO ARE WE?
A “Down with Falls Forum” was held in Orange County in July 2005. As a result, several government agencies, non-profit organizations, college districts, medical and therapy practices, residential facilities, and businesses made a commitment to the development of a Down with Falls Coalition to serve the needs of older adults in Orange County.
FUNDING
The Down with Coalition of Orange is requesting $25,000 from the Archstone Foundation to continue its coalition activities and implement goals and objectives outlined in the strategic plan. These programs will available to all County residents, focusing on those individuals determined to be most at risk for falling.
